Wellness & fitness
Time to reset
The spa, sauna, hot tub and fitness centre offer a quiet transition between a day outdoors and dinner downstairs. Facilities are available for an additional charge.

What is available
The cold from a full day outdoors takes a long time to leave your hands.

The wellness area and the gym sit together inside the building, so moving between them does not mean going back up to your room and out again.
Spa and wellness centre
A dedicated wellness area inside the hotel, available to guests for an additional charge rather than as part of the room rate. It is the anchor of the whole area, and the reason an evening here can be planned around something other than dinner.
Use tends to cluster in the hours between coming back from the mountain and sitting down to eat, so it is worth mentioning your preferred time at reception.
Sauna
The sauna sits among the property’s wellness facilities and, like the rest of the area, is chargeable separately. It earns its place in a house at this altitude, where the cold from a full day outdoors takes a long time to leave your hands.
Guests coming off the slopes usually treat it as the first stop rather than the last, before the evening turns into dinner and conversation.
Hot tub
A hot tub is part of the wellness offering and carries an additional charge. It is the least strenuous way to spend the end of a demanding day, and in winter the contrast between the water and the air outside is most of the appeal.
Availability varies with how busy the house is, so a word with the front desk earlier in the day is the practical way to arrange it.
Fitness centre
The gym is well equipped and access is also for an additional charge. It exists for guests who would rather not abandon a routine while travelling, and for the days when the weather closes the mountain and the energy has nowhere else to go.
Because it sits inside the same wellness area, a session there can run straight into the sauna without going back upstairs first.
Guests can complement a stay with access to all of the above for an additional charge. Details such as availability and use of the area vary through the year, so the simplest approach is to arrange it with the front desk once you arrive and have a better sense of how the days are going to run.

The evening
How a day here usually ends
The pattern most guests fall into is straightforward. The car comes back down from the mountain in the late afternoon, boots come off, and the hour before dinner goes to the sauna or the hot tub while the light drops behind the hills. Dinner follows downstairs, and the terrace or the coffee house takes whatever is left of the evening.
It works in the other direction too. Guests who prefer to train early can use the gym before breakfast and be on the road up to the slopes while the snow is still firm, with the wellness area waiting for them at the other end of the day.
Mountain days, then a slower evening.
Rooms, apartments and current conditions are arranged through the hotel’s booking page, and the wellness area is added to a stay once you are here rather than beforehand. Reception can confirm what is open, what it costs and when the quieter hours fall.
