Rooms & Apartments

Doubles and twins, suites and apartments give couples, families and longer stays a calm place to settle. Every category is modern, quiet and comfortably equipped.

What every room includes

The quiet is the part guests notice first, and the part they miss elsewhere.

Across the property, accommodation comes with a private bathroom, air-conditioning, heating and free Wi-Fi. Rooms are soundproof and non-smoking throughout, family-room options are available, and room service is offered for guests who would rather eat upstairs after a long day than come back down to the dining room.

Features beyond that vary by accommodation type. Selected rooms and apartments add balconies, terraces or kitchenette facilities, and because these are not present in every category it is worth checking the specific room you are booking rather than assuming a property-wide feature applies to it. The differences are deliberate: not every guest wants an outdoor space, and not every stay needs a kitchen.

Heating and air-conditioning both matter here more than in milder places. Winter nights on this side of the valley get properly cold, and summer afternoons on the upper floors get warm, so the controls in the room are worth using rather than ignoring.

Eight ways to stay in the house

The categories below run from the largest apartment down to a single deluxe double with a balcony. Read them as a sequence of shapes rather than a ranking, because the right one depends entirely on how many of you there are and how long you are staying.

One-bedroom apartment with a king bed, armchairs and a television at Hotel Zlatna Žita

One-Bedroom Apartment

The largest option in the house, with a separate bedroom and additional sleeping space in the living area. It suits families travelling with children old enough to want their own corner, two couples sharing a week, and any stay long enough that having a door to close makes a difference.

Because the living space works independently of the bedroom, mornings do not have to run to a single schedule. One half of the group can be up early for the mountain road while the other half sleeps through it.

Apartment

A comfortable apartment layout for small families or for guests who simply want more room than a standard double provides. It is the natural choice for multi-night stays around Pale and Jahorina, where the room stops being somewhere to sleep and starts being somewhere to live for a while.

The additional space earns itself back on wet or heavy-snow days, when the plan changes and an afternoon indoors needs to feel like a choice rather than a compromise.

Suite with Balcony

A suite with its own balcony, which makes a real difference on clear mountain evenings and again on warm summer afternoons. The extra sleeping space in the living area keeps it flexible enough for a family without giving up the feeling of a suite.

This is the category guests most often ask for a second time. Standing outside with the cold coming off the mountain, still inside your own room, is the part of a stay that tends to be remembered.

Suite

The same generous suite layout, with additional sleeping space in the living area, for guests who want more room to spread out after a day outdoors. Boots, coats and bags need somewhere to go in winter, and a suite absorbs all of it without the room feeling smaller.

It works equally well outside ski season for guests staying several nights who want a sitting area that is not the end of the bed.

Double Room

A straightforward, well-kept double with extra sleeping space in the room itself. It is a sensible choice for couples, and for families who would rather stay together in one room than spread across two, particularly for shorter stays.

Like every category here, it is soundproof, non-smoking, heated and air-conditioned, with a private bathroom and free Wi-Fi included as standard.

Deluxe twin room with two separate beds and a timber television wall

Deluxe Twin Room

Two separate beds for friends, colleagues or family members sharing, finished in the same modern style as the rest of the hotel. Nothing about it feels like a compromise on a double; it is simply arranged for people who are not sharing a bed.

It is a practical option for ski groups, where the room is mostly used for sleeping and for drying out gloves between one day on the slopes and the next.

Large Double or Twin Room

A larger room with the flexibility of a double or twin arrangement, which is useful when the sleeping setup is decided closer to arrival than the booking. Groups whose plans shift late tend to end up here.

The additional floor space also makes it a comfortable room to spend an evening in rather than only a night, which matters when the weather closes the mountain for a day.

Deluxe double room with a queen bed, sofa bed and access to a private balcony

Deluxe Double Room with Balcony

A deluxe double with its own balcony, for guests who like a few minutes of fresh mountain air without leaving the room. It is the smallest category here that still gives you an outdoor space of your own.

In summer the balcony is where breakfast coffee tends to be finished; in winter it is a short, cold, entirely worthwhile pause before going back inside.

Stay notes

The notes here cover the parts of a stay that are easier to read before arrival than to ask about at the desk: when you can check in, what happens with children and cribs, how payment works and where cancellation terms live. Details can be updated by the hotel over time, so treat them as a guide and confirm anything critical when you arrange the stay.

Front facade and entrance of Hotel Zlatna Žita in Pale
Check-in
From 2:00 PM until 11:30 PM, which leaves room for a late arrival after an evening flight or a long drive through the region. Private and express check-in are both available if you would rather keep the formalities short.
Check-out
From 6:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The early end of that window exists for guests heading up to the slopes or catching a morning departure, and express check-out keeps that morning simple.
Children
Children of all ages are welcome throughout the hotel, including the dining room, and family-room options are available across several accommodation categories.
Cribs
For ages nought to two, a crib can be requested free of charge. Availability and the number allowed in a room depend on the accommodation you select, so it is worth confirming when you arrange the stay.
Extra beds
Extra beds are not available. Where a category needs to sleep more than its bed count suggests, that additional capacity comes from sofa beds included in the room rather than from anything added later.
Minimum check-in age
Guests checking in must be at least eighteen years old, which is the standard arrangement for the property.
Pets
Pets are not allowed anywhere in the hotel, so travelling animals will need arrangements made elsewhere before you set out.
Payment
Cash is accepted as a payment method at the property. Anything you want settled in advance is handled through the hotel’s booking page instead.
Cancellation and prepayment
Conditions vary by accommodation type rather than applying uniformly across the house. Current terms are always shown in the hotel’s booking flow, which is the reliable place to check them before confirming a stay.

Choose a room, and leave the mountain plan open.

Availability and current conditions for every category are shown on the hotel’s booking page, including the categories with balconies and the apartments that suit longer stays. If the right shape of room is not obvious, the hotel can talk it through by phone before anything is confirmed.
